It is my great pleasure to host small group tours to Southern Africa and to introduce you to a very special part of our world. I was born, raised and lived in Zimbabwe until 2002 when my family and I emigrated to New Zealand. I have toured Southern Africa since I was a small boy, I know the lie of the land and over many years of hosting group tours, I have carefully refined the itineraries on these pages to showcase the very best that Southern Africa has to offer.

Each day is planned to incorporate comprehensive local sightseeing tours with cultural experiences whilst allowing time for rest and relaxation. My registered Guides are extremely knowledgeable and together it is our mission to give you the ultimate African experience. I've handpicked the accommodation we'll stay in, from fine city hotels to remote safari lodges, from charming country estates to luxury houseboats. We'll dine in award winning restaurants and under the stars, wander the streets of bustling cities and enjoy the tranquility and remoteness of the African bush.

These are small group tours, I take a maximum of just 14 guests to ensure a very personal experience is enjoyed by all. The tours are as inclusive as they can be, all transportation, quality accommodation, at least two meals a day, sightseeing, tips etc. are all included; you need little more than spending money. Africa is best experienced in a small group and doesn't it make sense to go with a local?

Africa is a destination you must visit at least once in your lifetime. You will find that once you do, a part of this continent remains with you and beckons you to return. By limiting the number of guests we take on tour to just 14 people, we can ensure that a very personal experience is enjoyed by all. There’s a place for large group tours but just not in Africa.

We have the contacts and connections to give you the authentic local experiences you’ve travelled to Africa for.
Inclusions. Do the comparisons, apple for apple and you’ll see that our tours are extremely inclusive with no hidden charges and very few optional extras.
We utilise quality, graded accommodation located where we need to be for the day’s activities not a couple of hours drive away.
We choose to stay within a private game reserve rather than a public one in South Africa. Why? To give you the best possible chance to view wildlife up close and without the crowds often found in public parks. There is nothing worse than trying to view wildlife with countless other vehicles jostling and vying for position and in the process chasing the animals away! We can go off road if necessary and aren’t restricted to open and closing times as you are in a public game reserve.
We travel via Sydney to Johannesburg, South Africa as this routing is the lowest overall journey time between New Zealand and Southern Africa. We don't travel via Asia or the Middle East which are much longer journey times.
Our road journeys are broken into smaller segments so we are not on a bus all day getting between destinations.
